At Building Connections Academy (BCA), our camps are designed especially for children who thrive with a little extra support. Through games, creative activities, and hands-on lessons, campers learn how to build friendships, navigate tricky social situations, and communicate with confidence—all while having fun!
We know that social interactions don’t always come naturally. That’s why our camps combine play-based learning, guided modeling, role-play, and positive reinforcement to help kids practice skills like:
- Disagreeing respectfully
- Respecting personal space
- Asking for help and including others
- Taking turns and showing good sportsmanship
- Compromising and making decisions together
- Setting healthy friendship boundaries
- Starting conversations and building connections
